The Porirua City Council has proposed moving to an online voting system as early as this year. How would you feel about online voting introduced in this timeframe or in general?

  • Online voting would be great, and current local and national governments are capable of an acceptable implimentation, but it will take more than 1 year to prove the system (27%, 8 Votes)
  • Online voting would be great and Porirua City Council is perfectly capable of implimenting acceptable systems in the proposed timeframe (27%, 8 Votes)
  • Online voting would be great, and an acceptable implimentation exists in theory, but will never be achieved by current local and national governments (23%, 7 Votes)
  • Online voting would be a disaster, no matter how it is implimented (17%, 5 Votes)
  • Online voting would be an improvement on postal voting, but our standards should be higher than that. Change is needed but online voting is not the solution (3%, 1 Votes)
  • It's more complicated than that. I'll explain it on the forum (3%, 1 Votes)
