The newly elected Policy Committee (Caucus) is comprised of three members:

We are charged with facilitating the development of official policy, as well as communicating policy to the media. Currently, PPNZ has no official policy--the policies on the wiki page
Core Policy (linked) have no official status. Therefore the first role of the Policy Committee will be to consider these policies for ratification.
The specifics of the Policy Committee's authority are yet to be decided in a general meeting and approved by the vote of PPNZ members. The Policy Committee has been discussing this with the President, and the suggestion is that ratification of policy should ultimately be by the vote of PPNZ members, so we will begin operating on this basis.
Via this forum, the Policy Committee will proceed through each of the interim policies on the wiki page
Core Policy, collate members' proposals and ideas on each, facilitate discussions, and put the proposals to the vote of members. We will begin with a discussion on copyright length.
