 Post subject: Howto: Nominate for Executive Council positions

There will be elections for all positions on the Executive Council at the AGM on August 14.

Nominations
are open as of now, and close at midnight Mon August 8, in order to allow time for advance votes.

The Executive Positions being elected are:
  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Media Spokesperson

Candidates must be nominated and seconded in writing (email) by two different pirate party members, and they must also accept nomination in writing (email). There are no restrictions on how many candidates you can nominate or second. Candidates may stand for more than one position, but once they win one position they are disqualified from all other positions.

emails should be sent to president@pirateparty.org.nz and vice-president@pirateparty.org.nz. Forwarded emails will be accepted if the meaning is clear (i.e. to avoid 3 separate emails)

The final list of candidates will be released on tuesday or wednesday August 9 or 10.
