These meetings happen every Tuesday at 8pm on IRC.

CRM Event Page

The purpose of these is to help the volunteers working on server-related projects, and to keep these projects moving.

These update meetings are to co-ordinate work on things that have already been decided, not to make new decisions. Please only come if you are involved in or intend to become involved in a project during the week.

If necessary, we will moderate the channel. Voice may be limited to people working on the project, or volunteering to work on a part of this project in the following week.

You can email crm@pirateparty.org.nz or webmaster@pirateparty.org.nz ahead of time if you have anything in particular to ask, discuss, propose, volunteer for etc. or progress to report.

Note: these were at 7pm until 13/11/12

This week (24th July - 6.30pm this time, and Mumble will be used alongside IRC)

1) privs. (incl Website editors, confidentialities, CRM accounts, PPmail)
2) tasks. (incl a few blog posts, drafting email templates, check bank records, updating mailing lists, others)
3) groups. Working out which groups to cull, merge, rename, migrate. (incl Facebook pages, google groups, mailing lists etc.)

If you have anything to add on any of the above, please make a note of it *before* the actual meeting.

Privs: we want to work out who is going to or might need to get these sorted soon. Basically anyone who might help us administer CRM, write blog posts or other website pages, create event pages etc. or who will be helping us arrange things and might need confidentiality.

Groups: talking about deleting (or 'hiding') some facebook groups (PSP), some of the google groups (mailing lists) (e.g. ypnz), migrating the announcement list to google groups and renaming it (and possibly changing the terms), and there's a new group (which might be) being proposed. See here for more info on the current mess.

This week, due to the board election, the usual meeting will run later than usual. (9pm or later)

Things to be covered:
1) Results of the board vote & introducing the new board members
2) Appointed volunteer roles - what roles should we have, what their requirements are, what privileges they need, and what options the new board has for filling these roles.

A few positions which have already been suggested:
Membership Secretary
Executive Assistant
Local Agents (Auckland, Wellington, potentially other centres) - generic official points of contact for people within their area
Graphic Design Expert
Whip (to keep track of projects and remind people of tasks they indertake)
Webmasters
Central Events Co-Ordinator (assistance to people organizing events in their area)
Fundraising Manager
