I understand the prime minister will be in Timaru on Wednesday at 7pm for a question session. I know I've left this rather late, but it occured to me that any opportunity to mention our concerns may help in its own little way to raise consciousness about them. So does anyone have any brilliant ideas for encapsulating Pirate Party ideals in a sound-bite convincingly masquerading as a question that I can take credit for? :-)

Maybe something along the lines of "What is your take on the current state of the internet copywrong debate, and if he stands with the New Zealand public or the "industries""

if he says 'public' then that's a good sign, if not, then you know what policies regarding this are being drafted by the government behind closed doors, and you can use that ammo later where you can say "Mr Key doesn't support the public's opinion" and is against the public (sorry wasn't sure how to word this after work at 12:30 am :P)

plus it puts him on a side and not on the fence

just a thought :)

Well I suck. In retrospect, I should have sat at the end of a row beside the aisle, instead of right in the middle of a row, and I might have had a better chance of attracting the attention of the people walking around with the microphones. :|
