This is more of a research question for us. Basically we are curious to find out how much the public are aware of the Missionary Church of Kopimism. We are an official recognized religion and promote file sharing among other things. We believe that the internet is holy.

Since we were founded by The Pirate Party in Sweden, it is my curiosity to whether the Pirate Party and its supporters here are aware of it.

The religion of Kopimism has gained astounding international attention; from discussions I've had with people outside of pirate party circles I would say it's more widely known than pastafarianisim, and much of this attention is ironically due to the MAFIAA's opposition to it.

I wonder how long it will take for Kopimi to overtake Jedi in the census results?

According the Wikipedia, Jedi would have been the second largest religion in New Zealand in 2001 ahead of Buddhism and Hindu, except that Statistics New Zealand refused to even acknowledge it as a valid answer. Kopimism may have better luck since at least one country actually recognises it as a real religion.
