Is the Exec Committee happy for this system?

Does a process exist for debating, modifying, and refining suggestions or, more importantly for a young party, to establish 'lines in the sand' to define, for example "this is what we're about for now, and nothing more, yet" to avoid getting distracted from our core issues"?

I could imagine other keen new members like myself roaring in with a hundred ideas for policy - and am conscious of the stakes and certainly don't want to be a contributor to anything which, at this stage, may take focus away from the immediate priorities
